The strongest sports organization in the capital, Rytas Vilnius, and the international gambling company OlyBet have launched a new three-year cooperation phase. According to the signed agreement, OlyBet will become Rytas’ second-largest commercial partner until 2028, providing the club with the opportunity to plan long-term activities, strategic projects, and organizational decisions in both Lithuanian and international basketball competitions.
This partnership will cover the club’s games in the Lithuanian Basketball League and the FIBA Champions League during the 2025–2026 season. The collaboration will give the club broader opportunities to build a competitive team and to update its sports infrastructure.
“First of all, we would like to thank our long-time partners and major basketball fans in the capital, Antanas Muraška and Donatas Kazlauskas, who joined with their businesses during Rytas’ most challenging times and significantly contributed to supporting and growing our club. Now we are starting cooperation with a new, but experienced and successfully established European brand,” said Rytas’ board chairman, Darius Gudelis. “We are pleased with the outcome of long negotiations and the beginning of a long-term partnership. It is great that the colors of our organizations also match.”
OlyBet is a company with extensive experience in sports sponsorship, collaborating with various projects across the Baltics and Europe. Its contribution will allow Rytas to further engage in city life: hosting community events, developing educational initiatives, and strengthening the connection between professional sports and fans, creating a better arena experience. The new partner’s logo will also be visible on updated Rytas jerseys, increasing visibility both in the arena and on television.
“We are delighted to be able to significantly contribute to the growth of the Rytas team. We hope that this partnership will encourage Vilnius residents to take even greater pride in their city team, and that long-term collaboration will provide a stronger financial foundation to build the team and achieve better results in both Lithuanian and international competitions,” said Tom Palevičius, head of Olympic Casino Group Baltics, commenting on the new partnership.
This long-term partnership establishes a strong foundation for stable development. Rytas plans to focus more on scouting new talent, ensuring player competitiveness, and providing a positive fan experience.
This partnership marks another step toward further strengthening Rytas’ position in its home city — Vilnius. Working together with OlyBet will give the club broader financial resources, ensuring that the people of Vilnius and the Rytas community can take pride in the team’s sporting achievements and organizational activities, while creating long-term added value and a stable foundation for the club’s future development.
