The festive season is a time when every good deed, every smile, and every kind word can become a source of warmth. Continuing its Together Against All social campaign, Rytas Vilnius united partners and the community this year to create unforgettable moments for children from the community orphanages “Atsigręžk į vaikus” and “Šv. Jono vaikai.”
In the Christmas initiative held in December, 37 children aged 6 to 19 participated. Accompanied by the team, the children visited the XS Žaislai toy store in the Panorama shopping and leisure center, where they could choose their own holiday gifts. The moments when the children, guided by Rytas players, picked out toys were full of genuine smiles and joy.
This initiative would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the sponsors. Partners contributing to the event included HOMA, Satchel, Norvelita, Adampolis, XS Žaislai, while Me2U provided sweet treats that Rytas players presented to the children after the home game against Kėdainiai Nevėžis. This example of unity once again demonstrated how coming together during the holiday season – or any time of year – can create joy and make a difference.
The community orphanages that Rytas collaborates with have been providing homes and care for children in need for many years. “Atsigręžk į vaikus” and “Šv. Jono vaikai” ensure that children grow up in a warm, caring, attentive, and family-like environment. Through this partnership, the club aimed not only to bring joy to the children but also to show that they care and are committed to supporting those who need it most.
