On September 7, during the Vilnius City Days weekend, Rytas Vilnius will invite fans to a unique season-opening event in an unexpected location – Lukiškės Prison. For the first time in the club’s history, this extraordinary venue will become the epicenter of basketball, music, and entertainment in the capital, gathering devoted fans, city visitors, and the entire team.
Visitors can expect a true festival atmosphere, with music, various activities, and a special gift to the city – a free concert by the band ba. This event, a highlight of the City Days weekend, is supported by longtime team partners – financial technology company Satchel and non-alcoholic beverage brand Utenos nealkoholinis.
Program:
15:00 – Event opening, performance by electronic music duo Black Water
16:00 – DJ Mamania, official team arrival and presentation, hosted by Kristoforas Vaidutis. Dancers will greet the players, and fans will have the chance to ask questions and meet the team up close.
17:00 – Special gift to the city: free ba concert
17:30 – Kinder Straik performance and event closing
Throughout the event, fans can purchase merchandise, try out basketball hoops, take photos at a special photo booth, and decorate themselves with temporary tattoos. Younger visitors will be entertained by the team mascot, while additional activities will be provided by event partners Tokvila and Me2U.
Admission is free. This special event is a gift to the people of Vilnius and its visitors, symbolically concluding the City Days weekend together with the city’s flagship basketball team – Rytas Vilnius.
