Rytas Vilnius (14-8) successfully defended their home court, securing a 98-77 victory (20:29, 25:12, 24:22, 29:14).
Gargždai started the contest strong (11:7), with Jalon Pipkins leading the charge offensively to help his team control the early flow at 18:9. Rytas began to close the gap (13:18), and midway through the first quarter, the home crowd welcomed back Martynas Echodas as he stepped onto the floor. However, the visitors remained dangerous as Nojus Mineikis proved difficult to stop (22:15). Mineikis added a shot from beyond the arc shortly after, helping the visitors hold a 29-20 lead after the first period.
The deficit began to shrink in the second quarter (29:33). Artūras Gudaitis was sent to the free-throw line multiple times, though he struggled to convert, often making only one of two (30:33). The veteran center eventually scored from under the basket (32:33), forcing Gargždai head coach Tomas Rinkevičius to call a timeout. Simas Lukošius soon put Rytas ahead (35:33), though the lead fluctuated briefly (39:38). After a Kenneth Smith three-pointer, the Vilnius side held a narrow lead going into the halftime break, 45-41.
Gargždai managed to level the score in the third, and Deividas Gailius briefly put the visitors back in front (48:47). Ignas Sargiūnas responded with a pair of triples, and S. Lukošius added a basket of his own, but Gargždai refused to let Rytas pull away. The margin remained slim (60:58), but the Vilnius side managed to carry a 69-63 lead into the final frame.
In the fourth, Martynas Paliukėnas—also returning from injury—scored several crucial baskets as Rytas began to pull away (77:63). Tensions flared between Artūras Gudaitis and Paulius Petrilevičius, resulting in an unsportsmanlike foul for the Rytas captain after a shove. However, Gudaitis responded immediately with points of his own (86:71). The final minutes offered no path back for Gargždai.
In his return game, Martynas Echodas played 17 minutes, recording 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 efficiency points.
Ignas Sargiūnas was once again the standout performer for Rytas Vilnius, finishing with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and an efficiency rating of 28.
Martynas Paliukėnas, also returning from the injury list, contributed 9 points and 3 rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
