Giedrius Žibėnas’ team won at home 98:81 (29:13, 20:21, 25:24, 24:23) against Jonava Hipocredit (6-21).
Rytas started the game very strongly and quickly gained a double-digit lead (16:4) after accurate shots by Jerrick Harding and Artūras Gudaitis. In the second quarter, Rytas’ lead reached 20 points (40:20) after a series of dunks by A. Gudaitis. Before the long break, 15 points separated the teams, and the scoreboard showed 49:34.
In the third quarter, the Jonava team made an impressive run and narrowed the gap to a dangerous margin (54:52) after Lukas Kreišmontas’ three-pointers.
