Rytas Vilnius has reached an agreement with a new addition to the squad: 26-year-old, 195 cm guard Michael Devoe has signed a one-year contract with the capital city club. The guard spent last season playing for Türk Telekom Ankara in both the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroCup.

“Michael is a talented and versatile guard who can excel across multiple positions,” said Rytas Vilnius Sports Director Artūras Jomantas. “He boasts excellent court vision and has the ability to both finish plays himself and create opportunities for his teammates. He already has solid European experience under his belt, having achieved notable success with his previous teams in both domestic leagues and European competitions. We believe Michael will integrate quickly, become a key figure in our squad, and further unlock his potential here.”

During the 2025–2026 season with Türk Telekom Ankara, Devoe averaged 20 minutes of playing time per game. In the EuroCup, he appeared in 20 games, recording averages of 9.0 points (shooting 51.9% on two-pointers), 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and a 10.4 Performance Index Rating (PIR). In the Turkish League, Devoe played 25 games, averaging 9.6 points, 3.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 41.4% from three-point range.

Before making his move to Europe, Devoe built his foundation in the U.S. basketball system. In high school, alongside future NBA stars like RJ Barrett, he played for Montverde Academy, helping lead the team to a perfect 35-0 season and a national championship. He went on to spend four years in the competitive ACC conference representing Georgia Tech. In 2021, he led his team to the ACC Tournament title, earning Tournament MVP honors, and finished his collegiate career ranked 12th on Georgia Tech’s all-time scoring list.

After college, Devoe gained experience in the NBA G League before heading across the Atlantic. His first full season in Europe brought immediate success: with Syntainics MBC Weißenfels, he won the German Cup and was named the Final Four MVP after scoring 27 points in the championship game.
