Rytas Vilnius and Lithuanian retail chain Norfa have extended their partnership.
Having begun its journey in 1997 with its first store in Vilnius, Norfos mažmena returned to the club’s sponsor roster in 2021. Today, the Lithuanian-owned retail chain operates 160 stores across 65 cities and towns nationwide, holding one of the strongest positions in the domestic retail market. The company consistently invests in store modernization, technological innovation, and energy efficiency, placing a strong emphasis on domestic producers and product freshness.
Dainius Dundulis, shareholder of Norfos mažmena, highlighted that practical considerations and the club’s evident accountability drove the decision to extend the sponsorship:
“We have partnered with the club for several years now, so we know and appreciate this organization’s approach to business very well. We also value the team’s fighting spirit on the court and its ability to maximize available resources, often achieving what seems possible and sometimes even more,” said Dundulis. “We want to contribute to these efforts and victories, and we hope the team maintains its tenacity, bringing many more memorable triumphs to the capital.”
Martynas Giga, CEO of Rytas Vilnius, emphasized that the club’s ambitions stem from its competitive drive on the floor:
“Our objective always remains the same: to fight for victory in every game and strive for top honors. That demands not only the utmost dedication on the court, but also reliable backing off it. We share a common philosophy with Norfa—both focused on delivering results and persevering right down to the final second,” stated Giga. “Having a partner that values our fighting spirit and actively contributes to achieving our goals gives the entire organization added confidence. We are delighted to continue this collaboration.”
