Rytas parts ways with Jordan Walker

Rytas Vilnius officially announces changes to the team roster — by mutual agreement, the club is leaving ways with 26-year-old guard Jordan Walker.

While representing Rytas in the Lithuanian Basketball League, sponsored by Betsson, Jordan averaged 13.8 points, 4.4 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and 10.6 efficiency rating points per game.

On the international stage, in the FIBA Basketball Champions League, the guard’s numbers were 12.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.

The player’s final game wearing the Rytas uniform was in the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup. In the final, J. Walker scored 11 points and recorded 3 assists.

“After evaluating the team’s current situation and our roster vision, we mutually decided to say goodbye,” said A. Jomantas about Walker’s departure. “We want to thank Jordan for the time he spent in Vilnius and for his efforts while defending our club’s colors. We appreciate his contribution to the team’s results and wish him every success in the next steps of his career.”
