Vilnius Rytas players, coaching staff, and members of the organization briefly traded the intensity of the basketball court for the darkness of a movie theater. The team gathered for a special preview screening of the film “Marty Supreme”(Didysis Martis), where the ambitions portrayed on screen resonated in perfect harmony with the values of the capital’s club.
The atmosphere of the evening was shaped not only by the intriguing storyline of the film, but also by its central message: “Dream big. Go all the way. Win at any cost.”
“Dream Big” — a slogan that has recently followed the film’s lead actor Timothée Chalamet wherever he appears — is far more than a catchy phrase or marketing line for Vilnius Rytas. It is a mindset. A daily battle on the court. Long seasons, painful setbacks, powerful comebacks, and unwavering belief even when no one else believes.
After the screening, representatives of the club were unanimous: Rytas knows exactly what it means to dream big — and to turn those dreams into reality. This is a team that has repeatedly proven that ambition, strong character, and perseverance can overcome any pre-season predictions.
Joining the Rytas community at the preview screening were several well-known figures, including Paulius Ambrazevičius, Jonas Braškys, and Evaldas Jasaitis.
“Marty Supreme” arrives in theaters on January 23.
