Rytas Vilnius has received reinforcement – the capital club has signed 27-year-old American Jerrick Harding. The 185 cm tall guard joins Vilnius after an outstanding season in Spain’s top basketball league – the ACB – where he represented Andorra’s MoraBanc club and was named to the second All-ACB Team.

In the 2024–2025 season, J. Harding was the top scorer of the ACB, averaging 20 points per game. His efficiency rating averaged 17.6 points (3rd in the league), he made 56.2 percent of two-point attempts, 37.1 percent of three-pointers, and 88.2 percent of free throws. Additionally, the player grabbed 2.2 rebounds, dished out 1.8 assists, and recorded 1.1 steals per game.

Harding began his career at Weber State University, where he became the all-time leading scorer (2,266 points), was twice selected to the All-Big Sky First Team, and set a school record with 46 points in a single game. By graduation, he was also the third-highest scorer in Big Sky Conference history.

Harding began his professional career in Europe in 2020, playing for the Czech champions Nymburk ERA. He then spent two seasons in Spain – joining Manresa BAXI in 2022, and a year later moving to Andorra’s MoraBanc, where he immediately became a team leader.

“We are delighted that Jerrick decided to become part of the Rytas team. He is not only an intelligent individual but also a talented guard capable of deciding games with his individual skill. We sincerely hope our club will serve as a springboard for him to reach even higher levels,” said Rytas Vilnius sports director Artūras Jomantas.
