The most dedicated Rytas Vilnius fans will soon have a new place to gather and watch the team’s away games together. On October 30, the OlyBar sports bar will host the official opening of the Rytas Fan Embassy, featuring appearances by players and coaches, along with games, gifts, and special surprises for supporters.
Rytas started the 2025–26 season strongly, winning 5 of their first 6 games in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and 2 of 3 in the Basketball Champions League (BCL). While the team splits its home games between two arenas in Vilnius, this week the club is also introducing a space where fans can unite and support the team during road games.
The official Rytas Fan Embassy will be hosted at OlyBar — a well-known sports bar located on Konstitucijos Avenue, operating since 2013. The venue is popular among sports fans for its large screens and regular live broadcasts of basketball and other sports events.
“We always aim to stay close to our community, and it’s important that our fans have a place where they can share emotions, feel part of the club, and support Rytas even when the team is playing away,” said Rytas general manager Jaroslav Latušinskij. “The Fan Embassy is another step to bring Rytas closer to people, their everyday life, and the city’s community atmosphere.”
The official opening event on Thursday, October 30, will feature Rytas players and coaches, as well as interactive games, club merchandise giveaways, contests, cheerleaders, DJ music, and other surprises for fans. The event will take place at OlyBar (Konstitucijos pr. 20, Vilnius) starting at 7:00 p.m.
“Our fans have always been more than spectators – they are part of Rytas,” added Latušinskij. “We want the Fan Embassy to be a place where that community spirit continues, whether it’s watching away games or just spending time with fellow supporters. Every such place in Vilnius is a small part of Rytas.”
The bar’s menu will now include a special Rytas snack set, and the venue will display team trophies and signed jerseys to highlight the club’s identity.
“The Rytas fan community sets an example for Lithuanian sports with their passion and unity,” said OlyBar manager Algirdas Mulevičius. “We love sports and want to share that enthusiasm with as many people as possible. We invite everyone to join us and enjoy top-level sports broadcasts together.”
