Rytas Vilnius continues its social campaign Together Against All and this March focuses on those who cannot ask for help themselves – homeless animals. Together with the organization SOS gyvūnai, the club invites its fans and the entire Rytas Vilnius community to contribute to a noble cause: providing better opportunities for dogs and cats waiting for new homes in shelters.
Every day, dozens of animals in shelters have been found on the streets, abandoned, or lost their homes for various reasons. SOS gyvūnai cares for their treatment, feeding, and overall well-being, while also seeking loving families for them. However, this dedication requires significant effort and resources, and without public support, ensuring better conditions for these animals becomes challenging. To provide proper care for more homeless dogs and cats, everyone’s help is needed.
Throughout March, Rytas Vilnius invites fans, partners, and the community to contribute to this initiative. Donations can be made via SMS to 1491, with a contribution of 5 EUR. Fans can also support by bringing goods: during home games at Active Vilnius and Twinsbet arenas, items such as leashes, collars, beds, cat litter, litter boxes, and toys can be dropped off, directly improving the daily life of shelter animals.
Additionally, this year the club encourages fans to donate 1.2% of their personal income tax (GPM) to SOS gyvūnai, further supporting animal welfare. The process takes just a few minutes, and instructions can be found here.
For those dreaming of a pet and ready to take on the full responsibility of caring for one, visit the SOS gyvūnai website and perhaps find a new family member. Every rescued animal becomes not only a loyal friend but also a source of warmth and love. Be the ones who can give these four-legged friends a new life and a new home.
Homeless animals cannot care for themselves, but we can help them. Every donation, every item, or even the time you dedicate contributes to their well-being. Together, we can ensure these animals receive more warmth, care, and the chance to find their true homes.
