ytas Vilnius and Artūras Gudaitis continue their collaboration – neither the club nor the player exercised the option to terminate the contract after the season. This means that one of the most important players in last season’s frontcourt will continue to represent the capital team.
Returning to Lithuania mid-season, Gudaitis quickly became one of the team’s key drivers. In the Betsafe-LKL championship, the big man averaged 8.4 points (2P 62.2%), 4.4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1.1 blocks, and 10.4 efficiency rating in just 19 minutes per game.
“In Vilnius, I found a top-level organization with the best possible fans. We still have unfinished business together. I eagerly look forward to the upcoming season, where I know we will fight together. See you soon!” Gudaitis sent a message to the fans.
Before returning to Vilnius, A. Gudaitis played in Japan, where he averaged 7.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and a 10.1 efficiency rating per game.
This is not the first time Gudaitis has worn Rytas colors. He previously represented the capital club from 2015 to 2017.
